John 4:21-24 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

John 3:21-22
Dear
friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before
God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his
commands and do what pleases him.

John 5:13-15
I
write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God
so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the
confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything
according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears
us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
Ephesians
3:10-12
His
intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God
should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly
realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in
Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in him we may
approach God with freedom and confidence.
Matthew
7:7-10
“Ask
and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the
door will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives; the one
who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
“Which
of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he
asks for a fish, will give him a snake?
James
5:13-16
Is
anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them
sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the
elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in
the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the
sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned,
they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and
pray for each other so that you may be healed.
The
prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
