Romans
15:8-13
For
I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews
on
behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs
might be confirmed and, moreover, that the Gentiles might glorify God
for his mercy. As it is written:
“Therefore
I will praise you among the Gentiles;
will sing the praises of
your name.”
Again,
it says, “Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”
And
again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles;
let all the peoples
extol him.”
And
again, Isaiah says,“The Root of Jesse will spring up,
one who
will arise to rule over the nations;
in him the Gentiles will
hope. ”May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you
trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the
Holy Spirit.
1.Thessalonians
5:16-18
Rejoice
always, pray
continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s
will for you in Christ Jesus.
1
Chorinthians 14:15
So
what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray
with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also
sing with my understanding.
Ephesians
5:19-20
Do
not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled
with the Spirit, speaking
to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing
and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to
God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Hebrews
13:15
Through
Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of
praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.
